 Vitae

Pat Evenson-Brady joined Willamette ESD as Superintendent on July 1, 2010. Pat describes herself as a product of Oregon public education—from elementary school in Hillsboro to high school in Beaverton to university education at Portland State and her Ph.D. from the University of Oregon. “The good taxpayers of Oregon funded my education and now it’s my turn to support Oregon’s teachers and learners,” she says.

Most of Pat’s professional life has been spent in Oregon school districts and ESDs. She has been an elementary and secondary school administrator in Oregon and Alaska, and an assistant superintendent, supervising special education, technology, school improvement and student services. She served as superintendent of Region 9 ESD (now Columbia Gorge ESD) and most recently, as superintendent of the Hood River County School District.
