The Student Leadership Development Center (SLDC)
provides state leadership for the seven professional technical student
leadership
organizations in Oregon:
- AOFC - Associated Oregon Forestry Clubs
- DECA - An
Association of Marketing Students
- FBLA - Future Business Leaders of America
- FFA - An
Association of Agricultural Science and Technology Students
- FCCLA - Family,
Career and Community Leaders of America
- HOSA - Health Occupations Students
of America
- SkillsUSA - VICA - An Association of Students in
Technical, Skilled and Service Studies
These organizations serve as a
vehicle to help students achieve academic and career related learning
standards. Through the center's work,
students have local, state, and national opportunities to develop and
enhance their academic, leadership, citizenship, and career skills.
