Getting to know each other and who we are as a group:

Log in to Google: www.google.com

Username: msrichardsclass

Password: cadre2007

List the ways that we can create a group that's collaborative, informal, hands-on and respectful.

Directions for using Google Docs

1. Log in or sign up for a Google Account at the following web page, look for the link to "Create an Account Now" https://www.google.com/accounts/Login?continue=http://www.google.com/&hl=en

2. Once logged in, click the link for more>> at the top of the web browser.

3. Click the link in the list for Documents.

To share a document:

Create the document you will share with others.

within the document, click the tab marked "Share"

Type in valid email addresses for the collaborators you want include. Send them a message.

Your collaborators will need to sign up for a Google account with the same credentials in which you sent their invitation even if they have another Google account. Sometimes, people write back to me after I've invited them and tell me that they already have a Google account. I simply add that account to my document with the same process.
