OSTX

Oregon Student Transcript Exchange (OSTX), developed by the Oregon Department of Education, is set to be fully operational and available to school districts, statewide, in Fall 2011. OSTX makes it possible to quickly exchange student records and transcripts between K-12 schools, and between K-12 schools and higher education institutions.

Today, when students transfer schools or apply to colleges, their records and transcripts are usually faxed or mailed. The OSTX application provides schools with a fast, efficient and secure way to transfer their student information, ensuring that students are enrolled in school and assigned to appropriate classes in a timely manner.

Student information is from the Willamette ESD Data Warehouse is transferred to the ODE relational data base for use by the OSTX application.
