Kathy McClellan, a Youth Transition Specialist for WESD, lead an effort to establish a student operated coffee cart in Sheridan High School. This small business will provide an opportunity for a group of students to improve work skills and learn the ins and outs of running a small business. Kathy's energy and collaborative approach fostered support from Sheridan School District administration and staff. As a result, students have a new learning opportunity, everyone gets to enjoy a high quality coffee stop and some of the proceeds will go toward a purchase to benefit students who attend Sheridan High School. A win-win-win!!!
