Migrant Education Hotline

Recruiters should inform migrant families about the National Migrant Education Hotline, a toll-free number that may be dialed anywhere in the United States and Puerto Rico. When migrant families arrive in a new area, they may use the number to contact Migrant Education Program personnel, to re-enroll into the Migrant Program and to request referrals to social service agencies that provide assistance with health, housing, food, clothing, childcare or emergencies.
