Willamette Education Service District (WESD) manages the education programs at Robert S. Farrell High School (Hillcrest Youth Correctional Facility), and William P. Lord High School (MacLaren Youth Correctional Facility).  Approximately five hundred adjudicated youth between the ages of twelve to twenty-five are served at the two schools.

Services Provided

The Youth Corrections Education Program (YCEP) provides academic preparation, career and technical education, and transition into the community.  Participation in distance learning and College Credit Now coursework is available through Chemeketa Community College (CCC) and other higher education institutions.  Alternative education is offered to students confined to a more restrictive environment.  Available alternatives are GEDs, High School Diplomas, and various Career and Technical Education (CTE) certifications.  Associate of Arts (AA) and Bachelor of Arts (BA) degrees are also earned by students in the YCEP program.
