Jesse Fields

Network Operations Manager
Jesse Fields is Willamette ESD’s Network Engineer and the Network Operations Center manager. Jesse began his career in education technology 10 years ago with Salem-Keizer Public Schools. During the department’s rapid growth, Jesse held roles as Desktop Support, Network Administrator, Unix Administration and Network Analyst. Jesse played a lead role in WAN design, implementation and support at Salem-Keizer. He joined Willamette ESD in 2001 and, in his first few months, designed and installed the network operations center to act as the ISP for the surrounding Marion and Polk school districts. Since then his team has scaled the network to include Yamhill county school districts and other educational organizations. Jesse is responsible for Pentamation network services and system administration. He majored in Electronics and Computer Science at Chemeketa Community College and is a member of Chemeketa’s Network Technology curriculum committee.
