    Katelyn McGill

Katelyn McGill | Employee Engagement Specialist | Human Resources

Katelyn is one of our employees who works with all departments in the agency. She is the person who provides prospective employees with a building tour and, once hired, she spends time with and supports them throughout their employment journey. In addition to her other responsibilities, Katelyn also coordinates our All Staff Kickoff activities and our New Employee Orientation meetings.

As always, Katelyn did an OUTSTANDING job this year coordinating a week filled with welcoming staff, catering an all-staff lunch, coordinating professional development opportunities, and supporting our new employees.

Katelyn's positive “can do” attitude is greatly appreciated - thank you for creating a highly successful week for our employees.

  • We have reopened our facilities and returned employees to the workplace. Looking ahead, our partner school districts fully expect to reopen and return to full in-person learning this fall

WESD has in place mask requirements for all buildings and will be following the State mandate for the wearing of masks in school settings.

We will continue to partner with public health officials and will share further details about updated COVID-19 safety measures and in-person learning expectations moving forward.

Additionally, we are working in collaboration with the Oregon Department of Education and their comprehensive Resiliency Framework for the 2021-2022 school year.
