WESD provides this page as a resource for your use as you are working through creating Operational Blueprints for reopening schools in the fall of the 2020-2021 school year under the Oregon Department of Education Ready Schools, Safe Learners Guidance.  This is not a comprehensive list of all resources and we are here to support you.

Thinking Ahead

  • Thinking backward from your due date of August 17th...

    Even going to comprehensive distance learning you will still need to turn in an Operational Blueprint.  Think ahead and use the work you have already done for hybrid and in person models.  Blueprints can change and be updated regularly.

    Before the End of July:  Communicable Disease Plan Updated (any Board policies adjusted and approved by School Board)
    For July or August Board Meeting: Plan Submitted to the School Boar

    Interested in using Canvas at a discounted rate for a year?

    The Willamette ESD is able to offer the Canvas LMS system for $2.00 a student up to 45,000 slots for one year through ESSER funds. 
    This will include WESD .5 FTE of technical support and 1.0 FTE of instructional design support regionally.  If you are interested in this consortium discount, please contact your District Tech Director and ask them to contact John Nielsen, WESD Tech Director to get started.
