Educator Externships

Construction has always been ahead of the curve when it comes to safety, and the AGC partners involved with Educator Externship are national leaders in safety protocols.  This program was designed to have the most impact when conducted face to face, and our hope is to proceed in that format within local guidelines.  We are working very closely with our participating companies to insure that the six foot distancing is feasible, that handwashing stations are available, and that any food provided is individually wrapped (ie: box lunches rather than buffet; bottled water or sanitized filling stations, etc.) We are abiding by the restrictions on how many participants can gather at one time, but each county and state is different. We have A/B groupings planned if needed, and our participating companies will also be mindful of meeting size as they commit their time and outdoor space.  We will provide our usual PPE – hardhats, safety vests, and glasses. Participants should provide their own facemasks.  If an individual is in a high risk category, or is uncomfortable with the protocols we have in place, they should consider their own safety before registering.
