Behavior Safety Assessment System (Threat-SIRC-Fire)
WESD partners with district education staff, public mental health, law enforcement, and juvenile justice agencies to provide Behavior Safety Assessment (formerly threat assessment), Sexual Incident Response, and Juvenile Fire Intervention Network/JFIN (fire misuse), to all participating school districts in Marion, Polk and Yamhill counties.

Services include:
- Level II Behavior Safety System Assessments: threat behavior, problematic sexual behavior and fire behavior.
- Access to & expertise from multidisciplinary teams: Mid-Valley Student Behavior Assessment Teams and Yamhill County Behavior Safety Assessment Team
- Ongoing Case Management alongside schools for complex cases

2024-25 training dates & registration
New this year! Full Day Level 1 Training for those new to Behavior Safety Assessment or want to do an in-depth review. Half Day refresher training for those who have attended a full day training in the last two years.
