School Psychologist

School Psychologists support school district with evaluation and follow-up support for students that may have an intellectual disability, emotional disturbance, or other related concerns. Evaluations can include intellectual evaluations, assessment of adaptive behaviors, file reviews, and parent/school personnel interviews. School psychologists may also provide file reviews and parent/school personnel interviews. School psychologists may also provide follow-up support such as consultation and direct services for students.

Services may include

  • Behavior support services, including Functional Behavior Assessment, development of Behavior Support Plan (BSP), and behavior consultation to IEP or student support team
  • Consultation and collaboration with educational teams and other agencies
  • Pre-referral planning and assistance
  • Academic, cognitive, behavioral, and developmental evaluations and assessments for most eligibility areas
  • Assistance in the development of goals and services for a student’s IFSP or IEP or other educational plan
