The WESD Foundation is a charitable organization founded to provide support and funding for students served by Willamette Education Service District.  Annually the WESD Foundation awards grants to purchase equipment, software, supplies and training that enhance the service provided to students.

The WESD Foundation provides grant opportunities from three distinct funds, all with a uniquely defined purpose.  Those funds are:

Casalegno Fund – For Augmentative Communication Services

The Paul M. Casalegno Fund was established by members of Paul's family in order to provide for augmentative/alternate communication devices, computer software or equipment for students served by WESD.

Pender Legacy Fund – For Autism Services

The Frank & Alice Pender Legacy Fund was established in order to provide for classes, training, supplies, equipment and field trips for staff or students involved in services related to WESD’s autism program.

The WESD Foundation General Fund was established to support and enhance learning opportunities for children, students, families and/or staff served by WESD.
